The attendant at the guesthouse confirmed that both of them were regular visitors there and Sonu would hire a room quiet frequently. On Thursday too, he hired a room and came with the victim. However, it seemed that a scuffle broke between the two, following which Sonu was seen leaving the place in a hurry. When blood started seeping out of the door later, the attendants became suspicious and called the police.
However, the girl’s family alleged that Sonu had been stalking their daughter for the last one year. Despite complaining to his parents, Sonu did not mend his ways, allege the girl’s parents. They, however, never registered a complaint. According to police, Sonu was found drunk at the time of arrest and has admitted of committing the murder. The girl’s family also raised the suspicion of Sonu’s family being involved in the crime.
